I hope this finds you well as we - hopefully - emerge from a very strange twelve months.
This newsletter has been slightly quieter due to the behind the scenes scramble of preparing each new issue of Offline Journal… but it’s finally here!
I’m delighted to share the latest issue of Offline Journal.
Issue #006 WILD SKIES explores the theme of Contemporary Landscape: both rural and urban; large vistas and small, by a selection of talented photographers making work in or of Wales. The cover image is by Pembrokeshire-based photographer Mohamed Hassan.
This latest issue is the biggest to date - with an introduction by Ed Brydon and end piece by the Doc Cymru Collective, 36 pages provide more space to present great photography in the ten articles featured.
Alongside publication of the Journal’s latest issue as print on paper, the online presence www.offline.wales has been refreshed. Details on each printed issue of Offline Journal and Offline Essays are available on the website as before, but the new online platform will allow experiments and collaborations, some already underway, to be shared beyond the printed page.
I’ll be sharing news of new Subscription options for future issues of Offline Journal in coming weeks. My sincere thanks to everyone who has subscribed previously - their support allows me to commit to and plan the next two issues of this self-published labour of love.
